FCB Careers is Hiring a 2D Motion Designer Near Chicago, IL
Position Summary:
The Senior Motion Designer is responsible for generating creative design ideas that enhance video or any other motion media. Senior Designer is expected to draw clients into the studio with their ability to collaborate creatively as well as generate new original ideas. A Senior Designer is expected to be able to work with all levels of the Creative Dept. and be well trained in industry software related to Motion Design.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate design prep to assistant (identify fonts, plug-ins, color, type)
- Creative design techniques & recommend approaches
- Ability to articulate and present ideas to creatives in a professional and compelling manner
- Execute design, add logos, set type, etc.
- Organize projects so others can pick up effectively
Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience required
- Video and motion graphics design experience and a design-related degree
- In-depth knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash MX; Exposure to Cinema 4D and 3D Animation
